PharmIQ is a fully online, webinar-based learning programme designed to empower the next generation of pharmacists. Our goal is to help you become a confident, valued member of the clinical team. With the upcoming changes to the initial education and training standards (from 2026), we believe it’s more important than ever for pharmacists to feel comfortable making clinical decisions. Every aspect of our course content is built around this philosophy.

PharmIQ is ideal for trainee pharmacists preparing to qualify as independent prescribers. It’s also suitable for early-career pharmacists and qualified pharmacists transitioning into more clinically focused roles. Our teaching focuses on building strong clinical foundations, understanding, and rationale. Our aim is to develop pharmacists in becoming confident clinicians who can work strongly within any multidisciplinary team.

Our content and delivery is all mapped to the GPhC registration exam and designed in line with the new Common Registration Assessment (CRA). However we have a slightly different take on it. We focus on true understanding, not just memorising facts , so that you’re prepared for both the clinical elements of the exam and real-world pharmacy practice.

Recent changes from the GPhC show a shift toward applying knowledge to real-life patient scenarios rather than straightforward recall questions. You can expect fewer memory-based questions and more case-based assessments that test decision-making and clinical reasoning. PharmIQ is built around exactly that: real patient examples, clinical decision-making, and understanding the “why” behind every choice.

Together, we bring nearly 20 years of experience across clinical, educational, and operational roles within the NHS - spanning both primary and secondary care. While AI can do a lot these days, it can’t replace real-life experience. We draw on our backgrounds in A&E, physical assessment, diagnostics, and treatment planning to make our teaching practical and authentic.

We’ve also guided and trained over 100 early-career pharmacists, helping them succeed in exams and thrive in new clinical roles. We know how challenging this journey can be, our aim is to guide you not just academically, but also mentally and emotionally, helping you build confidence and resilience alongside knowledge.

Not at the moment. We believe real learning happens through live, focused discussions and an interactive community. That’s why we currently prioritise live participation over recordings.

We will however send all attendees powerpoint slides prior to each webinar which can be built upon during the live session. This will provide you with a outline of the learning and prevent you from furiously taking down notes.
